Mr Kelly WILL "brave the shave"?
Together we raised $2015 for the Cancer Society. So today, just after 9am I'll be getting my new haircut! A huge thanks to Dayna Bavis from Bespoke Hairstyling (https://www.facebook.com/bespoke.hairstyling) for agreeing to come in and make sure the job is done right Our biggest donation was from the Latham family, so Ella will be coming in help Dayna - we'll post photo's later today on the school facebook page...
We are supporting the Cancer Society’s annual Daffodil Day fundraiser, and we will be having a “yellow mufti day” to raise money for it - for just a gold coin donation, your child can come to school dressed in their favourite clothes (the more yellow the better) on Friday 28 August.
We are aiming to raise at least $2000 and if we hit that target, I will “brave the shave” and allow the biggest donator to publicly shave my beard and head at lunch time the following Thursday!!
Daffodil Day symbolises hope for all New Zealanders impacted by cancer. Your donations will go towards providing a wide range of support services, education and awareness programmes plus fund vital research into the causes and treatment of all types of cancer.
Please help us reach our target and support the Cancer Society! Donations can be made in cash or via online banking with your initial and surname as the reference. The online banking account for Daffodil Day donations is: 12-3616-0031685-50 please note, this is different from the one you use to pay your school account.
