Keeping your kids safe online

If you are a parent of a child who has access to the internet, we'd like to invite you to join us on Monday 16 November from 6.30pm in the Pegasus Bay School gym for a presentation with John Parsons (https://www.citizen21.co.nz/) He will be talking about the issues and dangers associated with the inappropriate use of computers, mobile phones, gaming devices and the internet. John will talk about cybercrime - which is a very real issue facing families in NZ, and the easy practical steps to help prevent it.

We have 100 spaces available, and only those who RSVP will be able to attend - so please don't leave it too long to reply: https://forms.gle/wMkVZFo4pVZgSE6r7

Educating young people to understand the value of identity is the first step to using ICT safely. Educating young people to respect and protect friends and family identity is the second step.
