Our vision for our junior students
We believe the best way to get children to become life long learners is by letting them experience and play with the world around them. Digital technology allows our children to experience the world in ways paper and books can't. Our children develop and extend their reading, writing, maths and problem solving skills with Ipad and digital technology activities.
Designing & developing digital outcomes
Developing oral language and art skills with our iPads and ChatterPix.
The Year 0 -1 children use their Ipads to help them to practise forming letters and writing.
The Year 2 - 3 children created animations to retell a story
Tuakana / teina learning
At Pegasus Bay we run a buddy time. The senior students teach the Juniors skills around using the Ipad for creativity and learning.
Computational thinking
The Junior school enjoy coding with Bee-Bot and Tynker
